原形動詞像小精靈，只能出現在特定情境。看到 be 先問：它屬於哪一情境？沒有對應情境就是錯的！ 🔊 朗讀口訣

❌ 學生常錯：He will is happy. / To is happy / Don't is late.
✔ 正確：He will be happy. / To be happy / Don't be late.

觀念：平常當謂語，be要看主詞變 am / is / are / was / were。但出現在6大情境中，永遠只用原形 be，三單也不加s！

1️⃣ 助動詞情境 🔧 助動詞 + V（be永遠是be）

Ken will be late. 🔊（Ken會遲到。）

They can fix the computer. 🔊（他們會修電腦。）

❌ He will is busy. ✔ He will be busy. ｜三單也不加s：He can play，不是plays。

子點：do/does/did問句否定也是屬於這個情境：Does Ken play basketball? / He does not watch TV.

I want to be a nurse. 🔊（我想當護理師。）

We need to clean the classroom. 🔊（我們需要打掃教室。）

Be quiet, please. 🔊（請安靜。）

Don't be late for school. 🔊（上學不要遲到。）

4️⃣ 使役情境 🤝 let / make / have + O + V

Let it be. 🔊（讓它去吧。披頭四名曲，最有名的be情境例句！）

The teacher makes me clean the lab. 🔊（老師叫我打掃電腦教室。）

提醒：make/have + be很少見，多用形容詞：make me happy。看到be多半是let it be。

5️⃣ 感官情境 👀 see / hear / watch + O + V

I saw him cross the street. 🔊（我看到他過馬路。）

We hear her sing in the classroom. 🔊（我們聽到她在教室唱歌。）

提醒：這個情境be很少見，重點是一般動詞原形：cross / sing / run。

6️⃣ better幫情境 💪 had better / would rather / help / Why not + V

You'd better be careful with the machine. 🔊（你操作機器最好小心。）

I'd rather be a cook. 🔊（我寧願當廚師。）

Why not go to the night market? 🔊（何不去逛夜市？）

Can you help me move the box? 🔊（可以幫我搬箱子嗎？）
